Blossom through the Cloud - Chapter 58

Chapter 58

Back on the plane, Ruan Suxian had been genuinely enchanted by him. After getting off the aircraft, seeing that man standing there, a deep, heartfelt happiness welled up from the realization that "this man is my boyfriend."

The direct manifestation of this happiness was a craving for physical intimacy.

Yet what Ruan Suxian had in mind was a cinematic, picturesque scene—something a bit more pure and sincere, especially since what they had done today was quite romantic.

Instead, right now, she was pinned inside the car, denied even a lingering, tentative taste as she was plunged straight into a deep, entwined embrace, accompanied by breaths that fluctuated between heavy and shallow.

She was struggling slightly for air, her hands pressing limply against the seat cushion as her whole body grew hot.

Fu Mingyu showed no signs of stopping; if anything, he grew increasingly forceful.

The atmosphere was far too sultry, completely different from what she had imagined.

Ruan Suxian suddenly wanted to see his expression, but when she opened her eyes, her gaze instantly locked onto Fu Mingyu's.

Pulling back slightly, his eyes were somewhat hazy, rendered dreamy by the narrow sliver of light, as he murmured in a low voice, "You're a bit distracted."

With no idea what prompted her to do it, Ruan Suxian suddenly reached out and touched the tip of his nose.

"Your nose really is nice."

High and straight, yet not overly rugged.

Yet this touch proved a bit too much for Fu Mingyu to handle. He frowned, seized her hand on reflex, placed it upon his shoulder, and guided her other hand up as well.

Rubbing the tip of his nose against hers with a seductive air, he murmured, "Weren't you the one who initiated the kiss? Don't make me feel like I'm forcibly kissing my girlfriend, hmm?"

Ruan Suxian slowly laced her hands together, blushing. Shutting her eyes tightly, she looped her arms around his shoulders, tilted her neck far back, and initiated a kiss of her own.

Following that came an even more fervent and daring assault. The temperature inside the car seemed to spike, and even his panting sounded like a sigh of sated satisfaction.

A long while later, feeling as though her brain were about to run out of oxygen, Ruan Suxian let out a whimper from deep in her throat. Using her last shred of sober consciousness, she pushed him away and whispered low, "It's already dark. Let's head back—I have a flight tomorrow morning."

Fu Mingyu slowly straightened up. Raising his hand, his knuckles grazed his lower lip before he let out a low, sudden chuckle, his voice still a bit hoarse. "Your lipstick is quite sweet today."

Taking deep, ragged breaths while her face still burned, Ruan Suxian lifted her chin and caught a glimpse of her lips in the rearview mirror.

She had only applied a light layer of peach-orange tint earlier, but now they were plump, vibrant, and glistening with moisture.

Fu Mingyu had already walked around to the driver's side and climbed in. As he fastened his seatbelt, Ruan Suxian glanced sideways at him.

She suddenly thought that if Fu Mingyu ever went bankrupt, even without relying on that face, his sheer tormenting prowess would probably make him a top-tier attraction at a male hostess club, guaranteed a worry-free life of food and clothing for the rest of his days.

"Boyfriend," Ruan Suxian suddenly reached out and pinched his cheek. "If you ever run out of money in the future, I'll go work at another company and make money to support you."

Fu Mingyu glanced at her out of the corner of his eye, smiling gently. "Alright, I am deeply and eternally grateful."

The next morning, Ruan Suxian had a ten o'clock long-haul flight with a single layover in between, not arriving at their destination of Jinxing City until four in the afternoon. According to the flight planning department's schedule, the crew would rest locally for the night and only fly back the following morning.

Situated in the southernmost region with a subtropical climate, this city felt like spring all year round, maintaining temperatures above twenty degrees even in December.

Therefore, despite only staying for a single night, Ruan Suxian had packed a dress, planning to stroll along the beach around dusk.

When she returned to the conference room after filling up on aviation fuel, the cabin crew had already arrived, seated together and chatting in a particularly lively atmosphere.

The moment Ruan Suxian stepped inside, they abruptly fell silent, looking somewhat awkward.

"What's wrong?" Sensing the strange vibe, Ruan Suxian paused at the doorway without stepping further inside.

There was a male flight attendant in this cabin crew. Despite his thick eyebrows and large eyes, he understood skincare and cosmetics better than some women during their casual chats, naturally earning the title of a women's best friend. At the same time, he retained a bit of typical masculine carelessness, answering whatever Ruan Suxian asked.

"Oh, we were just talking about Li Zhihuai."

"Right." Ruan Suxian pulled out a chair and sat down. "It's been days, why are you guys still talking about that?"

"What do you mean, 'still talking about it'? The internet has a memory, you know. It's only been a few days, and every single forum thread is still discussing her."

The male flight attendant beamed with excitement as he gossiped, acting as if he were exceptionally close to Ruan Suxian, even though they had only worked together twice. "Do you have any inside info?"

The other female flight attendants let out coughs, signaling him to shut up, but he remained utterly oblivious, blinking expectantly at Ruan Suxian for a scoop.

"I don't have any inside info. What I know is probably even less than what you guys know."

The male flight attendant drooped his eyelids in disappointment.

Yet that was indeed the truth. For instance, the topic they had just been discussing—rumors about Li Zhihuai starring in "Clouds Breaking, Sunrise"—was something Ruan Suxian knew nothing about.

This was Time Pictures' major project for the year. Because it required a massive airline background that could not be achieved purely through set design—not to mention the impossibility of entering an airport for filming without special government approval—they needed to cooperate with an actual airline.

Word was they initially approached North Aviation, but the news was rejected before it even reached Yan'an, as Yan'an's father had learned hard lessons because of his son and wanted nothing more to do with celebrities or internet influencers.

Time Pictures subsequently turned to World Aviation. During casual chats, the Public Relations Department had leaked that when the production company approached them, they spent ten minutes discussing the specific details with Fu Mingyu. Fu Mingyu liked the concept and agreed on the spot.

That news was from two months ago, and had it not been for Li Zhihuai's recent scandal, nobody would have given this minor piece of gossip a second thought.

"Now I see people online saying Li Zhihuai was trying to manufacture hype with President Fu," the male flight attendant continued. "Though she totally flipped her car over this time, sigh. I actually used to quite like her; I thought she was a great fit to play a female captain—she has a great temperament and is very pretty."

As soon as he finished speaking, several people glared at him, causing him to finally realize whose presence he was speaking in. He immediately slapped his own mouth.

"Of course, she definitely isn't as pretty as Vice Captain Ruan. She was just an ugly duckling trying to imitate a swan."

Ruan Suxian flipped through the documents on the table. Seeing that the captain hadn't arrived yet, she said, "Just chatting casually. Any other gossip?"

Yesterday's experiences still felt intoxicating, her mind seemingly lingering amidst those lakes and mountains, keeping her in exceptionally high spirits even now.

"Not much else. She gets mocked daily now; she's practically become a meme. I see people giving her the nickname 'The High School Girl with a Past' online."

Once the topic warmed up, others began chiming in.

"She used to be pretty popular, but this whole stunt is a huge loss for her."

"What loss? Who knows, maybe she's thrilled. Didn't you see how many new trending search keywords she gained after our company issued that statement? These days, having conversational buzz is traffic, and traffic doesn't distinguish between good or bad—even infamous notoriety is still fame."

"So is she still acting in that movie?"

"Who knows? Maybe the production company is actually thanking her for bringing so much publicity to the film. But I heard President Fu probably won't invest in this movie anymore."

Hearing that final sentence, Ruan Suxian widened her eyes. "Really?"

The male flight attendant widened his eyes too. "You didn't know?"

Ruan Suxian: "I didn't ask him."

The male flight attendant rubbed his nose, thinking to himself that this prospective boss's wife actually knew even less than he did. "I heard it from the PR department. President Fu has always kept a relatively low profile regarding these matters; he probably doesn't want World Aviation tangled up in this mess any longer."

With that, he stared at Ruan Suxian, attempting to spot a smug expression of "My boyfriend can be this ruthless purely for my sake" to satisfy his gossipy urges.

"Sigh." Ruan Suxian lowered her eyes and chuckled softly to herself. "Only a fool turns down free money."

"..."

Although her logic was rather skewed, everyone in the room could detect a thick wave of sweetness radiating from her face and tone.

Because this was a long-haul flight with a layover, the pre-flight briefing lasted quite a while. The captain detailed precisely where turbulence might occur and where cumulonimbus clouds required detouring, explaining every single detail meticulously. Occasionally, when emphasizing points requiring special caution, he would look directly at Ruan Suxian and explain word for word.

Ruan Suxian had a faint intuition that this captain was giving her special care.

Observing the attitudes of the rest of the cabin crew only reinforced this feeling.

Fine then.

Ruan Suxian realized she now carried more than just the label of "Fu's property."

Before, everyone merely knew Fu Mingyu was pursuing her, with no confirmation of whether he had succeeded. Now, thanks to the Li Zhihuai incident and World Aviation's official Weibo post declaring "Our President Fu has gone to coax his girlfriend," their relationship had effectively been made public knowledge.

"Alright, that's about it." The captain put down the route chart and said, "Let's set our security code word."

He turned to look at Ruan Suxian. "You pick one."

Ruan Suxian nodded, casually flipping through the passenger manifest. "Let's go with Captain Dong."

The security code word was a minor routine ritual during every crew's pre-flight briefing. It served as a safeguard against hijackings, preventing situations where someone might threaten a cabin crew member into making a PA call to the cockpit to trick the captain into opening the door. Once a malicious individual gained entry and coerced the captain, everyone on board would be doomed.

Therefore, selecting a code word usually meant choosing a surname different from both the actual captain and first officer. For instance, this flight's captain was surnamed Zhang, and the first officer was surnamed Ruan, so Ruan Suxian suggested "Captain Dong." If a cabin PA came in asking for "Captain Dong," the people inside the cockpit would immediately know the cabin was in danger and could call for help in time.

Having stated the code word, Ruan Suxian was about to close the passenger manifest when she suddenly felt something was amiss, pausing to take a closer look at the VIP client list she had just skimmed past.

Dong Xian.

The name was quite ordinary, and she had skimmed right over it without paying attention.

Seeing it again now, her first reaction was: surely it couldn't be such a coincidence?

Yet the name immediately following it below was "Zheng Youan."

"Let's go." The captain stood up. "Time to board."

Ruan Suxian headed toward the restroom. "I'm going to use the washroom first."

As boarding time approached, Zheng Youan and Dong Xian sat in the first-class lounge, each occupied with their own things and remaining silent.

Dong Xian was heading to Jinxing City today to visit an old senior colleague, while Zheng Youan was attending an art exhibition.

Zheng Youan stared at her phone. The lounge was very quiet, making a soft "Oh" sound remarkably abrupt.

Dong Xian looked up from her book. "What is it?"

"Nothing, just browsing the web." Continuing to scroll through various Weibo posts and forums for a moment, Zheng Youan suddenly looked up. "Mom, you know Li Zhihuai, right?"

"I suppose so." Hearing that name, Dong Xian frowned. "I've only met her twice."

"I also remember she came looking for you before. What did she want?"

It was an incident from roughly two years ago. Zheng Youan remembered Li Zhihuai visiting Dong Xian, but back then Li Zhihuai wasn't famous, so Zheng Youan hadn't given it any thought.

As for that matter, nobody else had asked, and Dong Xian had no inclination to bring it up unprompted. But since Zheng Youan brought it up now, she mentioned it casually.

"She brought a director and a screenwriting team, wanting to make an autobiographical film based on me."

Zheng Youan looked surprised. "You didn't agree, did you?"

"Of course not." Dong Xian said calmly, "There's nothing worth filming."

Despite saying that, Li Zhihuai wasn't the first film crew to approach her; two or three others had followed suit afterward, fully demonstrating how captivating Dong Xian's life story was to these filmmakers.

As for the reason, it naturally had to do with her career.

Seven years ago, the name "Dong Xian" skyrocketed to fame in the oil painting world.

Over the following five years, numerous paintings of hers appeared in the fine arts circle, featured in various exhibitions that drew the adoration of professionals across all fields and won countless awards.

Two years ago, her artwork was cataloged into the "Grand Collection of Genuine Works by World Contemporary Famous Oil Painters," cementing her artistic status once and for all.

A beautiful female painter, brimming with spiritual vitality, whose solid painting techniques brought the depiction of human inner worlds vividly to life—she had firmly established herself as a brilliant, unique flower in the oil painting world.

Naturally, this fame was not the fundamental reason filmmakers sought her out.

When people traced back Dong Xian's past, they noticed that the year she rose to fame, she was already forty-one years old. Prior to that, she had lived in obscurity, merely an ordinary elementary school art teacher.

Such "late-blooming success" was enough to evoke deep emotion in the industry. Digging deeper into her past, they discovered she had divorced her ex-husband—also an elementary school language teacher—at the age of thirty-seven.

Some reporters visited her former colleagues and neighbors for interviews, learning that aside from being a celebrated beauty far and wide, the prevailing impression people had of her was that of a good wife and a good mother, praised universally for taking meticulous care of her family. Nobody had anticipated her sudden divorce, and they were even more shocked by her overnight transformation into a master painter.

This made for deeply dramatic material: what on earth could a virtuous wife devoted to her husband and children have experienced to undergo such a massive metamorphosis?

Yet nobody ever got the answer. Publishing houses that approached Dong Xian to write a book about her were likewise rebuffed.

"Rebuffed rightly so." Zheng Youan nodded. "I think that woman is utterly ridiculous."

"Are you talking about her incident with Fu Mingyu?" Dong Xian knitted her brows, murmuring softly, "Even if it's all cleared up, it still doesn't change his habit of flirting around."

Missing Dong Xian's final mutter, Zheng Youan spoke on her own accord: "People call it manufactured hype, but I think she genuinely has a thing for Fu Mingyu. She's a big celebrity after all; what kind of men hasn't she seen? For her tastes to land there... looks like her chosen film team probably isn't very discerning either."

Dong Xian glanced at her and stayed silent.

After completing the pre-flight walkaround check with the captain, the two entered the cockpit.

While waiting for passengers to board, the captain made a call home, while Ruan Suxian used her phone to book a popular internet-famous restaurant in Jinxing City, the captain's gentle voice humming in her background.

"Yeah, Daddy is about to take off... Alright, alright, I'll buy you a gift... Listen to Mommy at home, Daddy will be back tomorrow... Okay... Put Mommy on the phone..."

Ruan Suxian glanced sideways at him, seeing that even while speaking on the phone, he wore a beaming smile, his face filled with tenderness.

Her phone suddenly buzzed, and glancing down, she saw a message pop up from Fu Mingyu.

[Fu Mingyu]: Boarded yet?

Ruan Suxian shifted her posture, resting her chin on her hand as she typed.

[Ruan Suxian]: Mhm, just got on.

[Fu Mingyu]: The weather's bad today. Let me know when you land.

[Ruan Suxian]: Okay.

Pressing the screen's keyboard, Ruan Suxian sent a message without giving it much thought.

[Ruan Suxian]: My mom and Zheng Youan are also on this flight today. What a small world.

This time, he didn't reply instantly.

Ruan Suxian figured he must have gotten busy.

Rereading what she had sent, it did indeed sound rather pointless.

Yet she didn't know why; seeing a message from Fu Mingyu made her instinctively want to share this tidbit.

Half a minute later, the network signal cut off, and Fu Mingyu called her directly.

"Are you unhappy?"

Hearing his voice caused Ruan Suxian to drift for a moment.

She felt her heart was like a balloon, slowly filling up with something while sinking gently.

"Not unhappy." Ruan Suxian said, "Just thought it was quite a coincidence."

Hearing her tone was normal, Fu Mingyu let out an "Mhm." "Be safe. I have to go into a meeting."

"Okay." Pausing for a second, Ruan Suxian added, "Can I come see you tomorrow after I get back?"

"Hmm?" Fu Mingyu seemed to laugh, his voice carrying a slight breathy sound as he spoke. "Want to kiss me?"

"..."

Ruan Suxian hung up the phone.

Staring at her screen for a moment, she then powered off her phone completely.

The trace of emotional fluctuation stirred by the passenger manifest was swept away entirely by this phone call.

The captain hung up his phone at the same time, turning to ask, "Your mom is on this flight?"

Ruan Suxian smiled and nodded.

"That's wonderful. Daughter sitting in the cockpit, mom sitting in the cabin. My daughter also says she wants to be a captain when she grows up, though I suppose it won't work out for her—the little girl's health isn't great, so I probably won't ever get to sit on one of her flights."

"She'll be fine," Ruan Suxian said. "She'll get better as she grows up."

Arriving in Jinxing City at four in the afternoon, Ruan Suxian and the captain emerged only after all the passengers had disembarked.

Temperatures in Jinxing City soared unusually high to 29 degrees today—somewhat abnormal for the season, yet making for superb weather for a seaside excursion.

Ruan Suxian asked the young cabin crew members if they wanted to go hang out at the beach together, but they all shook their heads, saying Jinxing City had duty-free shopping malls, and domestic flight crews always looked forward to shopping here, planning to go on a spree tonight.

Ruan Suxian had no choice but to head to the beach by herself.

Before doing that, however, she needed to grab a bite to eat.

The restaurant she booked was right by the ocean. Unwilling to make a round trip back and forth, she changed into a dress and headed straight there.

Built right against the shoreline with glass walls on five sides providing panoramic ocean views, the restaurant was illuminated under the sunset's afterglow by dotted lights that made the place resemble a fairy-tale world.

Sitting at a window seat with the window cracked open, she could hear the ocean breeze.

Yet because it was positioned as a high-end dining establishment, space was prioritized over seating capacity, keeping the environment refined and elegant.

Upon entering, Ruan Suxian was guided by a waiter to her reserved spot.

Since she was dining alone, she was seated at a small table.

Once seated, Ruan Suxian's phone buzzed; Fu Mingyu was replying to her earlier message confirming her safe landing.

[Fu Mingyu]: Mhm, have you eaten?

His WeChat conversational style really was rather dull, repeating questions like "Did you eat?", "Did you sleep?", and "Are you awake?" like a repetitive template.

So Ruan Suxian felt like teasing him a little.

[Ruan Suxian]: Boyfriend, let me ask you a question.

[Fu Mingyu]: Mhm?

[Ruan Suxian]: Between me and psrrfd, who do you think looks better?

[Fu Mingyu]: ?

[Fu Mingyu]: Who is psrrfd?

[Ruan Suxian]: Why are you asking who psrrfd is? Can't you just say I look better?

[Fu Mingyu]: ...

[Fu Mingyu]: Are you in a bad mood today?

Ruan Suxian chuckled at her phone like a fool.

[Ruan Suxian]: Let me ask you another question.

[Ruan Suxian]: Would you despise me if my bare face didn't look good?

[Fu Mingyu]: No.

[Ruan Suxian]: So you're saying my bare face doesn't look good?

Half a minute later.

[Fu Mingyu]: Asking to be disciplined today, are we?

At the sight of the word "disciplined," Ruan Suxian naturally thought of what Fu Mingyu meant by that term.

Her face suddenly flushed, and a stray lock of hair fell down, tickling her cheek.

[Ruan Suxian]: Never mind, I'm going to eat.

Just as she put down her phone, a familiar voice rang out behind her.

Pausing her movements, she turned her head to look, and sure enough, it was Dong Xian and Zheng Youan.

The moment she turned, she found herself face-to-face with Zheng Youan.

Zheng Youan looked slightly surprised, blinking a couple of times.

Following Zheng Youan's line of sight, Dong Xian turned around, caught sight of Ruan Suxian, and parted her lips slightly.

"Ruan Ruan? What are you doing here?"

The amusement from chatting with Fu Mingyu hadn't yet faded from her expression, leaving her features soft.

Looking at the two people across from her, she said, "I'm here for work."

Dong Xian walked up to her, eyeing the menu in her hands and speaking somewhat tentatively. "Would you like to join us for dinner?"

Zheng Youan was still staring at Ruan Suxian, entirely unsure what expression to put on.

This was the first time the three of them had ever gathered together.

She also knew Ruan Suxian and Dong Xian didn't seem to have a great relationship; after all, she had never once seen this biological daughter over all these years.

"No need," Ruan Suxian said. "I can eat by myself."

Ever since learning Ruan Suxian was with Fu Mingyu, Dong Xian had wanted to have a proper conversation with her about it. However, phone calls never provided a proper opening to clarify the whole story. Now that they met in person, she refused to let the opportunity slip, yet fearing Ruan Suxian might turn around and leave, she cut straight to the chase. "Ruan Ruan, I've always wanted to talk to you about Fu Mingyu."

Hearing Dong Xian say that, Zheng Youan leaned forward so she could hear clearly.

Not this again.

Ruan Suxian put down the menu, thinking that if it had to be addressed, they might as well clear the air once and for all so she wouldn't keep pestering her about this issue in the future.

"Fine, go ahead."

"Two days ago I saw the news with him and that female celebrity, he—"

"It's all been cleared up." Ruan Suxian felt a wave of irritation. "I told you long ago, it was a misunderstanding."

"I know this incident was a misunderstanding."

"Then what else is there to say?"

Ruan Suxian felt Dong Xian was truly bizarre. She was already in her twenties, just dating a boyfriend who happened to be tall, handsome, and wealthy—looking wonderful from every angle. She couldn't understand why Dong Xian kept dragging this topic up over and over again.

"I wanted to tell you last time, but you interrupted me," Dong Xian said. "Fu Mingyu isn't as good as he makes himself look."

Fine, there it was again.

Ruan Suxian nodded helplessly. "Alright then, tell me, where is he no good?"

Glancing around to ensure no one else could overhear, Dong Xian spoke up: "He's very messy when it comes to relations between men and women. I won't speculate about things I didn't see, but when he went to Spain a few months ago, he was messing around with some strange woman over there."

Hearing that sentence, Zheng Youan's heart skipped a beat, and she hurried over in two or three steps. "Mom, I—"

"It was Youan who saw it with her own eyes," Dong Xian said, pointing at Zheng Youan. "He had just gotten off the plane when he couldn't keep his eyes off the beauties over there."

Zheng Youan: "..."

As for him bringing a woman into his car, Dong Xian found such behavior too sordid to easily voice aloud.

She deemed that kind of conduct utterly despicable.

Ruan Suxian's expression slowly froze. After a long moment, she spoke up: "Oh, I can't keep my eyes off handsome guys either."

"Ahem!"

Zheng Youan suddenly choked on her own saliva.

Dong Xian paid no attention to Zheng Youan's reaction, simply convinced that Ruan Suxian must be so thoroughly infatuated to still be making excuses for him in a situation like this.

"You think I'm joking with you? Don't you understand what that sentence implies? Do you really think he was just looking? Did you think he wouldn't take a woman away with him?"

Zheng Youan hurriedly tugged on Dong Xian's sleeve. "Mom, that—"

"If you don't believe me, ask her." Dong Xian pushed Zheng Youan toward Ruan Suxian. "She saw it with her own eyes."

Zheng Youan: "..."

Before Zheng Youan could say a word, Ruan Suxian abruptly stood up.

"Alright, I have things to do, I'm leaving."

Even though Ruan Suxian turned on her heel and walked away with a dark expression, as Dong Xian watched her retreating back, a stone finally dropped from her heart.

Ruan Suxian didn't return to the hotel, wandering instead along the beach on the other side.

Her heart was in a turbulent mess.

Regardless of her relationship with Dong Xian, she knew Dong Xian wasn't someone who spoke carelessly.

Ruan Suxian held her shoes in her hand, pressing one footprint after another into the sand.

It's fine. So what if it's true? They weren't even together back then; what he did in his private life was his own freedom, as long as he stopped playing around now.

Yeah, right, exactly like that.

Ruan Suxian comforted herself and walked a few more laps.

No, it's still so annoying!

Unwilling to walk any further, she found a beach lounger and lay down, listening to the ocean breeze in an attempt to calm her emotions.

Ahhhhh!

Fu Mingyu, you dog of a man!

Didn't you damn well say you liked my type? How come you couldn't take your eyes off some Samba dancer when you saw one? Why are you so shallow?!

The more Ruan Suxian thought about it, the angrier she got. Just as she looked up, she happened to spot a few models or whoever taking photos by the seaside.

Wearing bikinis, big-chested and big-booted, striking sultry poses.

If Fu Mingyu were here right now, would his drool be dripping three feet long?

Lying on the chair, Ruan Suxian glared at those models as if they were love rivals, swelling up with rage like a pufferfish.

A few minutes later, she snapped a photo of the distant bikinis and sent it to Fu Mingyu.

[Ruan Suxian]: Pretty?

Having just stepped out of his office, Fu Mingyu walked while opening the image to take a look.

Rippling ocean waves, a beach glistening with golden light under the evening glow, and a pair of fair, tender feet dusted with sand resting on a lounge chair, their toes round and adorable.

He smiled.

[Fu Mingyu]: Pretty.

Ruan Suxian: "..."

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

[Ruan Suxian]: Darling, I'm bringing you a huge gift when I get back tomorrow.

Nobody knew how happy the words "Darling" made Fu Mingyu feel for a long while.

[Fu Mingyu]: Alright, I'll be waiting.
